Upcoming Community Events: Tenino Quarry Pool Splash Bash: May 26th, 2018 Splash Bash 2018 - Dinner - Live and Silent Auction. May 26th. at the “Vault” aka the Campbell & Campbell building in the Historic downtown Tenino district. Doors open at 5:30p.m. This is a bi-annual event to raise money for our historic open air pool. The funds raised by this event help keep the pool open. It is always amazing to see the generosity from the city and neighboring communities. Whether you attend the event or donate to the auction, know that 100% of the proceeds go to keeping the pool open. This year we will have live music by Buddy Price on the piano keyboard. A mini vintage swimsuit fashion show is in the works to keep things fun! Keith Phillips our beloved sand stone carver will provide us some entertainment. Rick Nelson who has been the auctioneer since the "birth" of the Splash Bash always brings much gaiety to the event. The Sandstone Cafe will be catering dinner with menu to be determined.
This is quite the social event and always sells out, so if you wish to attend, get your tickets soon. Tickets can be purchased at the Iron Works Boutique in downtown Tenino.
